The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and ripe cherry associated with fine touches of minerality, sweet spices as well as very discreet hints of pepper (in the background). There is a hint of violet after aerating. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine mineral frame as well as fleshiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed blackberry and redcurrant jam associated with fine touches of minerality, liquorice, toasted as well as a subtle touche of red fruits (cherry…) and vanilla. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a hint of dark chocolate on the finish.
