Château Bouscassé 2009 – Madiran

Château Bouscassé 2009 – Madiran

(Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc) The nose is fine, elegant and fruity. It reveals notes of red fruit and blackberry combined with hints of flowers as well as touches of spices. The palate is fruity, elegant, racy, concentrated, well structured and offers some minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of red fruits (raspberry, fine notes of strawberry) associated with a few notes of blackcurrant, woody notes (in the background) as well as hints of spices and fine notes of licorice. Tannins are a bit grainy. Good length.
