The nose is fruity, slightly powerful and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, cherry, blackberry and slight notes of crushed strawberry associated with hints of liquorice stick, cocoa as well as a very discreet hint of black pepper (in the background). The mouth is soft, silky, tight and offers tension, a slight straightness as well as a slight acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, cassis and slight notes of raspberry associated with touches of wild berries, violet, liquorice, minerality / graphite as well as discreet touches of cocoa and toasted touches. Tannins are young. There are a subtle hint of salinity and a subtle hint of bitterness on the persistence / aftertaste. Good persistence.
