The nose is fruity and offers a certain small concentration. It expresses notes of crushed blackcurrant, blackberry and more slightly – small pulpy/ripe black fruits, associated with touches of cornflower and has a hint of licorice stick. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a tangy structure, good work on the good bitterness, tension, a certain juiciness. The mid-palate is discreetly tight. It expresses notes of pulpy blackcurrant, small dense black fruits and more slightly – roasting associated with touches of toasted, nutmeg as well as a hint of mocha. The tannins are relatively powerful. A fine hint of bitterness in the back of the mouth/persistence.
