Château Bourdieu N°1 2021 – Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux

Château Bourdieu N°1 2021 – Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity and reveals some flesh. There are notes of fleshy strawberry/raspberry and more lightly of pulpy/fresh berries combined with a fine touch of blackcurrant and a subtle hint of fresh liquorice. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, a fine acidic backbone, a discreet creaminess and some tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, fleshy cherry and slightly fresh blackberry combined with fine touches of violet, racy minerality and a fine touch of graphite and caramelised almond. Good length. Fine sapidity and chocolate on the finish. Nice chewiness on the finish. Clean, crisp, acidic and approachable.
