Château Bourdieu – N°1 2019 – Blaye Côte de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity and offers a fine power, concentration as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, small blue fruits and small notes of strawberry associated with fine touches of cornflowers, raspberry as well as fine hints of liquorice, toasted and a discreet toasted hint. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, fine tension, a good definition, fat, a racy minerality as well as a pulpy / fresh fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, pulpy / juicy small blue fruits and small notes of cornflower associated with small touches of violet, small red berries as well as fine hints of liquorice / zan, tonka bean and cardamom. Tannins are well-built.
