The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine controlled power and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild juicy cassis, small red berries, small notes of violet, cherry flower associated with touches of grey pepper as well as hints of spices, a subtle hint of toasted vanilla. The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, a good definition, a certain definition, a certain gourmandize as well as a mineral/acidulous frame, tension, a small power and a finely tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/creamy blackberry, wild cassis, small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of violet, lily, Cuben pepper as well as hints of tonka bean, coffee/torrefaction, and a subtle hint of blond tabaco. The tannins are precis and finely soft. a discreet hint of a good bitterness in the finish/persistence. A fine powdery side in the finish/persistence. a discreet hint of bergamot, cacao and cinnamon on the persistence/aftertaste. Good length.
