Château Bourdieu – Absolu 2019 – Blaye Côte de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity and offers intensity, a fine grain as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild cassis, small black berries and small notes of crushed raspberries associated with fine touches of cherry, cornflowers as well as discreet hints of chocolate and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, unctuosity, gourmandise as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of pulpy / juicy wild strawberries associated with small touches of pulpy / juicy purple plum as well as hints of violet, cornflowers as well as subtle hints of liquorice and vanilla / chocolate.
