The nose is fresh, racy and mineral. There are notes of fresh wild red fruit, pepper and, to a lesser extent, violets, combined with fine touches of fresh blackcurrant, toasted almond, nutmeg and a discreet touch of vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, freshness, fatness, a fine tension, roundness and gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/puply redcurrants and more slightly fresh strawberries combined with touches of racy minerality, fresh violet, fresh violet plum as well as fine points of nutmeg, cardamom, a discreet varietal touch and a subtle saline touch. The tannins are supple and racy.
