The nose is fresh, racy and offers complexity as well as a fine and a bit tight grain. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of crunchy wild strawberries, fresh rose and small notes of fresh red berries associated with touches of cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, racy minerality (terroir) as well as a hint of crunchy plum, discreet hints of pepper and a subtle hint of hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, a bit tight and offers minerality, an acidulous structure, juiciness, suavity, a certain gourmandize, a fine concentration, a small tension as well as a slightly unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy wild strawberry, fresh rose and small notes of fresh / juicy blackberry associated with touches of lilac, plum blossoms, hints of juicy / pulpy red berries, hazelnut as well as slight hints of vanilla and tonka bean. Tannins are precise and well-built. A discreet chew on the finish / persistence.
