Château Bonnet 2015 – Moulin-à-Vent

The nose is gourmand, elegant, quite fruity and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed raspberry and slight notes of cassis combined with a toasted hint, gray pepper as well as subtle / discreet hint of liquorice (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a slight mineral frame, a slight juiciness (in the background), a slight tension, minerality / freshness as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy raspeberry, fresh Gariguette strawberry and slight notes of of blackberry associated with subtle of toasted hints of oak and liquorice. Tannins are a bit firm and straight.
