Château Bonisson 2018 – Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence

The nose is fresh and offers crunchiness. It reveals notes of crunchy / juicy peach, crunchy / juicy apples, and very slight hints of fresh zest combined with subtle hints of racy minerality as well as an imperceptible hint of olive / garrigue. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, tension, elegance as well as a beautiful juicy / acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy / juicy vine peach, crunchy / juicy apple and small notes of juicy quenette associated with touches of citrus (tangerine, lemon), a hint of yuzu zest as well as slight hints of racy minerality and an imperceptible hint of olive / sense of place. A slight saline hint (in the background) and sapidity on the finish. There is an imperceptible hint of varietal bitterness on the persistence.
