Château Bonalgue 2021 – Pomerol

The nose is elegant and reveals a certain power and fine concentration. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, blueberry, graphite and slightly blue berries combined with hints of sweet spices and a touch of star anise. The palate is mineral, balanced and shows freshness, tension, freshness and acidity. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/fresh blackberry, blackcurrant and slightly violet notes combined with hints of fresh blueberries, graphite as well as fine hints of star anise, cocoa and a subtle touch of toastiness. Good length. The tannins are well managed and mellow. Fine hints of almond and vanilla on the finish/persistence.
