Château Blaignan 2015 – Médoc

Château Blaignan 2015 – Médoc

The nose is fruity, aromatic and relatively fine. It reveals notes of black berries, cassis and a hint of fruit jam associated with a hint of coffee, oak and a fine note of menthol. The palate is fruity, gourmand, sleek, harmonious, balanced, silky and offers a small minerality and a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, black cherry and slight notes of black berries associated with slight notes of raspberry, fresh red cherry, tobacco, Zan, a discreet touch of blueberry cream and a touch clove. Tannins are fine and quite ripe (for an EnPrimeur wine). Good length and persistence with notes of roasted oak and a fine touch of coffee.
