The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a nice finesse, fleshy (fruit) as well as a fine fermentation side of the fruit. It reveals notes of fleshy blackcurrant, fleshy/pulp cherry and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of small roasted fruits, racy/gravelly minerality, hints of star anise, a hint of cherry blossom, plum bright red as well as a discreet hint of fresh tobacco and discreet hints of fresh vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, juiciness, suppleness, deliciousness, density, smoothness, a little airy side as well as a nice volume of the material. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/pulp cherry, crushed raspberry and small notes of pulpy/juicy purple plum associated with touches of fleshy blackberry, hints of roasted/pulp red fruits, fresh vanilla, blond tobacco sweet as well as a discreet hint of tonka bean, toasted almond, a subtle hint of vanilla and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are soft and elegant. Lovely freshness and elegance.
