The nose is beautifully built, elegant, racy, complex and offers power, richness, freshness, complexity as well as a beautiful fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe wild blackberry, ripe strawberry and small notes of crushed/fleshy cassis associated with small touches of juicy blueberry, chocolate, toasted, violet as well as a hint of Cuben pepper, tea as well as fine hints of underwood and very fine hints of exotic spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fresh/acidulous frame, a beautiful definition, power/richness, elegance as well as juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy raspberry and small notes of juicy/acidulous blackberry as well as hints of violet, toasted, cardamom as well as very fine hints of tea, Timut pepper as well as a subtle hint of tonka bean, Bourbon vanilla and a discreet hint of underwood. There is a subtle hint of incense, caramelized almond and nutmeg on the persistence. Beautiful persistence.
