The nose is fresh and fruity. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly of spices associated with fine touches of minerality, raspberry, Sichuan pepper as well as a discreet hint of violet. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave and offers a good definition, suavity, a very fine unctuosity, tension, a racy minerality, precision, a small freshness, minerality as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly crushed raspberry associated with small touches of crushed little berries, subtle hint of lilac, discreet touches of spices, mild tobacco and almond. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Chews on the finish.
