TThe nose is fresh, fruity, tight, complex and aromatic. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and wild strawberry associated with small notes of small wild black fruits as well as subtle hints of Sichuan pepper, liquorice and discreet hints of cocoa. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a mineral frame, a fine acidity (in the background), tension, a very fine unctuosity, finesse as well as a small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, black cherry, wild raspberry and small touches of cassis, liquorice associated with subtle hins of tobacco, sweet spices, discreet touches of tonka bean/chocolate, tea as well as discreet touches of flowers, camphor and an imperceptible hint of almond (in the background). Tannins are a bit firm. Good length and good persistence.
