The nose is fruity, precise, juicy, fine and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of crème de cassis and blackberry combined with a touch of rose / violet, licorice as well as slight touches of black tea. The palate is fruity, unctuous and offers a silky texture, tension, a good volume, density, depthness, concentration, precision and a beautiful purity of the fruit. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam and black cherry associated with discreet hints of fresh red berries (in the background), plum, licorice and a touch of graphite. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and persistence with notes of dark chocolate and oak.
