Château Bellevue de Tayac 2015 – Margaux

The nose is harmonious, elegant, gourmand and offers richness, precision, a slight intensity as well as small concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild strawberry and redcurrant combined with a hint of cherry, racy minerality (terroir) as well as subtle hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight, elegant, well-built, suave and offers a nice acid frame, concentration, a good juiciness, gourmandise, precision, a good straightness as well as a nice guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, redcurrant and slight notes of cherry associated with touches of cassis, caramelization, mocha and a subtle toasted hint and an imperceptible touch of cardamom. Beautiful persistence. There are a hint of chocolate, caramelized oak and a hint of caramelized almond on the persistence.
