The nose is aromatic, fruity, powerful, elegant and straight. It reveals notes of boysenberry, plum and slight notes of strawberry associated with fine touches of violet, a hint of oak, caramelization, bell peppers (discreet) as well as hints of sweet spices, a discreet touch of Bourbon vanilla and a fine hint of flint. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, round, large, relatively fat and offers a nice suavity, a nice fresh / mineral frame and a beautiful silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses fine notes of plum, cassis, cherry jam and fine notes of ripe strawberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, caramelized oak as well as discreet hints of sweet spices. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length.
