Château Bellerive 2022 – Médoc

The nose is racy, elegant, pulpy. It expresses notes of crushed strawberry, pulpy cherry and, more slightly, fresh pepper associated with touches of small fruits, pulpy blackcurrant, fresh licorice and a discreet hint of cornflower and sweet spices/fresh tobacco. The palate is nicely fresh, mineral and balanced. It offers juiciness, smoothness, a certain freshness, aromatic purity and gourmandise. It expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, pulpy/fresh blackcurrant and more slightly – cornflower associated with touches of pulpy/juicy cherry, as well as hints of star anise and a hint of blueberry in the background. The tannins are well developed and offer a nice roundness.
