Château Belle-Vue 2014 – Haut-Médoc – Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fresh and relatively elegant. Il reveals slight notes of leather, touch of undergrowth and hints of spices associated with slight notes of blackberry cream, cassis, slight notes of spices, a small earthy touch as well as a discreet hint of blueberry, crushed raspberry and a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The wine needs to be decanted (carafe). The palate is fruity, fine, sleek, mineral and offers a beautiful roundness, fat, a good definition as well as a juicy/acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and crunchy strawberry associated with slight notes of cassis, raspberry, oak, chocolate as well as discreet hints of graphite, sweet spices and a hint of black tea. Good length and persistence.
