 Château Bélair-Monange 2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, 1er Grand Cru Classé B

The nose is elegant, fine, fresh, racy, powerful, complex and offers concentration as well as a small tension. It reveals notes of fleshy/fresh/ripe blackberry, ripe cassis and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of ripe raspberry as well as hints of lily, fine hints of spices, Cuben pepper, vanilla and a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is fresh, well-balanced, beautifully juicy and offers a beauitufl ripe/juicy/fleshy fruity, a beautiful racy grain, dynamism, tension as well as density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of flehsy cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of ripe raspberry associated with samll touches of fleshy small fruits, violet/cornflower as well as subtle hints of toasted, toasted almond, liquorice, sweet spices and very fine hints of tonk bean. Tannins are elegant, racy and well-built. Good length.
