Château Belair-Coubet – Prestige 2019 – Côtes de Bourg

The nose is aromatic and offers a small concentration, a fine intensity as well as a small density and a small flowery side/pistil. It reveals notes of pulpy wild blackberry, small black berries, small notes of wild strawberry, cassis associated with touches of pistil, lilac as well as fine hints of camphor, pepper, saffron, discreet hints of hazelnut and vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, a small suavity, a fine freshness as well as an acidulous frame and a certain small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of  juicy/fresh blackberry, violet, small notes of juicy violet plum associated with touches of lilac, lily, redcurrant as well as fine hints of vanilla, nutmeg, tonka bean and a very discreet hint of vanilla. Good length. Tannins are well-built. Tannins are well-built.
