The nose is aromatic and reveals some power, a fine concentration and a fine grain. There are notes of blackberry, fresh flowers and, more slightly, sap, combined with hints of ripe red berries and a discreet hint of star anise and vanilla in the background. The palate is fruity, well-managed and offers juiciness, acidity, minerality, acid candy and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy, juicy cherry, violet and, more lightly, bright blackcurrant, combined with hints of pulpy, sour blackberry, as well as fine cocoa notes and a very discreet hint of fresh nutmeg. Good length.
