Château Bel-Air – Cuvée Divine 2021 – Bordeaux

Château Bel-Air – Cuvée Divine 2021 – Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, mineral and reveals intended concentration, some richness and freshness. There are notes of black currant liqueur, strawberry and, more lightly, crushed red berries combined with touches of grey pepper, fresh nutmeg and a subtle hint of clove (on the background). The palate is fruity, fresh and offers minerality, crunchy fruitiness, liveliness, energy, an acidic backbone and volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright blackcurrant, bourbon vanilla underlaid with fine hints of toastiness, nutmeg and crushed/powdered almond. Finely dry/extracted tannins. Good length. Fine chewiness on the finish.
