The nose is fruity and offers gourmandise and a certain purity of fruit. There are notes of crunchy blackcurrant, crushed blackberry and more slightly crushed blue berries combined with hints of fleshy currants and fine points of liquorice stick, graphite and a subtle hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, a juicy/fresh structure, gourmandise, creaminess, fatness as well as smoothness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/creamy blackcurrant, pulpy/creamy blackberry and, more slightly, fresh violet combined with touches of red berries, hints of vanilla, a subtle touch of toasted hazelnut and a very discreet hint of almost wild flowers and cocoa (in the background). Good length.
