Château Beauséjour 2016 – Fronsac

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a beautiful freshness. It reveals slight notes of blackberry, cassis and slight touches of wild strawberry/wild fruits associated with slight notes of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, fat, well-balanced and offers tension, a beautiful roundness as well as a beautiful freshness/acidity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of jammy strawberry, raspberry and slight notes of blackberry associated with hints of caramelized oak as well as a discreet hint of licorice. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
