Château Beauregard 2019 – Pomerol

The nose is elegant, racy and offers a beautiful finesse of the intensity, power and deepness. It reveals notes of crushed wild cassis, coffee, blackberry, small notes of small blue fruits associated with touches of ripe black plum, crushed strawberry as well as hints of liquorice/zan, sweet spices, nutmeg and very discreet hints of dark chocolate/cocoa. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, gourmandize, tension as well as a good definition, elegance, finesse, delicacy, a racy minerality, freshness and a racy power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy wild cassis, Boysen berry, coffee, small notes of juicy/fresh violet plum associated with a touch of crushed blueberry, crushed strawberry as well as hints of tonka bean, cocoa, caramelization, nutmeg and toasted. Tannins are well-built, elegant, racy, structuring and precise.
