Château Bastor-Lamontagne 2018 – Sauternes

The nose is fruity, candied and offers elegance. It reveals notes of candied pear, candied kumquat, small notes of lychee associated with a touch of quince, mango, a fine hint of dry apricot, sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of dry almond, honey and an imperceptible hint of cinnamon. The palate is elegant, fruity and offers a beautiful freshness, minerality, tension as well as a fine grain, finesse and a small aerial side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied vine peach, small notes of mango associated with a touch of roasted pineapple, crystallized lemon as well as a hint of dry apricot, apricot flowers, honey and discreet hints of almond (in the background). Good length.
