The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a fine concentration as well as a fine freshness. It reveals notes of cassis and flowers associated with small notes of wild strawberry, ripe redcurrant as well as slight notes of licorice, toasted oak, a touch of fresh vanilla and an imperceptible hint gray pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly fleshy, slightly sleek and offers an acid frame, minerality, a fine concentration, a fine suavity / fat as well as a small tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy Boysenberry and fresh cassis associated with slight notes of wild berries, black cherry, discreet hints of blueberry / violet, zan as well as a subtle hint of spices and tobacco. Tannins are fine, a bit tight and a bit young. Good length. There are a hint of mocha and caramelization on the aftertaste.
