The nose is aromatic and offers a fine concentration/intensity as well as a fine freshness. It reveals notes of cassis, wild blackberry and small wild berries associated with fine touches of liquorice, Sichuan pepper, caramelization and a hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fluid, well-defined, clean and offers a fine acid frame, tension as well as a bit aerial. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy black cherry, crushed raspberry associated with touches of blueberry as well as fine touches of liquorice stick, vanilla, toasted and a very discreet hint of coffee/ chocolate (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length and good persistence.
