Château Ballan-Larquette 2020 – Bordeaux moelleux 

The nose is mineral, fruity, racy and offers a certain elegance. It reveals notes of crystallized lemon, quince, small notes of fresh/juicy apple associated with touches of lemon flowers as well as hints of racy minerality, a discreet hint of exotic fruits and lemon flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers minerality, freshness, an acidulous frame, juiciness, a small gourmandize, a certain tension, energy, a small chiseled side and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe lemon, quince, small notes of pulpy yellow peach associated with touches of fleshy/acidulous green apple as well as hints of zests, citrus, fine hints of exotic fruits, discreet hints of lemon flowers, verbena and flint. Good length.
