The nose is fruity, ripe, racy and offers a small concentration and a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and ripe/fresh small black fruits associated with fine touches of liquorice stick, cornflower, tonka bean, toasted as well as an imperceptible hint of peony and tea. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a good definition, gourmandize, a small fleshiness, tension as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy raspberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy cassis associated with fine touches of tonka bean, toasted, coffee as well as discreet hints of flowers and tea. Tannins are precise, well-built and slightly firm.
