Château Balac 2018 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fruity and offers a small freshness as well as minerality. It reveals notes of fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry and minerality associated with very discreet hints of cassis and an impercpetible hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a fine fleshiness, juiciness, a good precision as well as a fleshy/juicy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry, fleshy/juicy red berries and small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of racy minerality as well as very fine hints of toasted/tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are finely firm. Good length.
