The nose is elegant, fruity, fine, powerful, racy and offers complexity as well as a very beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with small touches of violet, lily, Cuben pepper as well as hints of blueberry, sweet spices and discreet hints of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, gourmande and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful finesse, tension, delicacy, complexity, a good finesse of the grain, harmony as well as beautiful and elegant acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with violet as well as fine touches of lily, toasted, caramelization, toasted almond and very fine hints of chocolate/vanilla (in the background). Tannins are elegant and well-built. Good length. There are very fine hints of vanilla as well as a subtle hint hint of hazelnut on the finish/persistence.
