The nose is elegant, harmonious, precise, racy and offers power (full of delicacy), a beautiful finesse of the grain, deepness as well as a beautiful freshness. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, crushed wild strawberry and small notes of quite ripe cassis associated with touches of fresh/ripe violet plum as well as hints of lily, graphite, grey pepper, fine hints of mild tobacco and a discreet hint of camphor, spices, saline/iodine hints (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, freshness, a beautiful harmony, a superb finesse, suavity, a beautifully precise definition as well as delicacy/subtility in its power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, quite ripe/fleshy cassis and small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of wild strawberry, quite ripe blueberry as well as hints of fresh raspberry, fresh lily, cornflower, very fine hints of tonka bean, nutmeg, underwood (in the background) and a subtle iodine hint and Badiane (in the background). A discreet hint of cocoa on the persistence. Good length.
