The nose is aromatic, racy (racy minerality) and offers a slight concentration / intensity as well as a slight juiciness. It reveals notes of cassis, flowers and racy minerality associated with touches of wild redcurrant as well as raspberry, blue fruit and toasted oak, spices and gray pepper. The mouth is fresh, mineral, racy, fruity, well-balanced and offers straightness, tension, a good freshness, a slight gourmandise and a small suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cherry, crushed redcurrant and slight touches of blackberry, racy minerality associated with a touch of blueberry, violet, spices as well as slight touches of cocoa, caramelized oak, subtle / discreet hint of minty licorice in the background. Tannins are fine and chewy. Good length. The finish is a bit powerful.
