The mouth is fresh, mineral, racy, fruity, well-balanced and offers straightness, tension, a good freshness, a slight gourmandise and a small suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cherry, crushed redcurrant and slight touches of blackberry, racy minerality associated with a touch of blueberry, violet, spices as well as slight touches of cocoa, caramelized oak, subtle / discreet hint of minty licorice in the background. Tannins are fine and chewy. Good length. The finish is a bit powerful.
