The nose is fruity, mineral, racy and offers a fine power as well as a fine concentration/density. It reveals notes of cassis, cornflower/violet and a racy minerality associated with small touches of wild strawberry, gray pepper as well as subtle touches of crushed raspberry and an imperceptible hint of zan. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very slightly tight and offers a good definition, a fine mineral frame, a fine suavity, gourmandize, a fine freshness, juiciness as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and fleshy raspberry associated with small notes of cassis, black cherry, racy minerality as well as discreet touches of spices, Sichuan pepper, a subtle hint of flower/bulb and a discreets hints of toasted (in the background). Good length.
