The nose offers a mastered power, a beautiful powerful grain, race, tension and hormonious. There are notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of cubeb pepper associated with hints of badian and hints of « sens of place » (local biotop). The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, tension, precision, an acidulous frame, harmony, straightness as well as impulse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright/ pulpy cherry, acidulous raspberry and small notes of bright/ pulpy small black fruits associated with touches of cornflower, badian and a hint of sweet blond tabaco and a very discreet sappy hint in the background. Sapid and supple tannins. Beautiful work on the good bitterness in the background and a small chewiness with a discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla. Beautiful saline side on the finish/ persistence.
