The nose is fresh and structured. It reveals slight notes of fresh cassis associated with a hint of terroir (clay/limestone) as well as a discreet hint of flowers and subtle hints of cacao/oak. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, nicely built and offers a good structure, a good minerality (mineral frame), a good definition/harmony, a slight tension, fat, suavity, gourmandise as well as a very slight unctuosity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, fresh/ripe Gariguette strawberry and a hint of cassis associated with a very discreet hint of wild berries, a discreet hint of flowers, hints of licorice as well as an imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper. Tannins are fine and well-built. There is an imperceptible hint of crushed fresh hazelnut on the persistence.
