The nose is fruity and offers a fine power as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild cassis, wild blackberry and small notes of raspberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, caramelized oak as well as discreet hints of chocolate and a subtle hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, freshness, a fine grain, a fine juiciness as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, fleshy/juicy raspberry and small notes of ripe/juicy small red berries associated with fine touches of blueberry, vanilla, flowers as well as a subtle hintof nutmeg. Tannins are finely dry.
