It reveals notes of ripe cassis, black cherry / sour cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of violet, lily as well as very discreet hints of liquorice stick, a subtle hint of juicy blueberry, tobacco and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, a beautiful freshness as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis and small notes of sweet spices, liquorice/cardamom associated with a subtle hint of tobacco. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
