The nose is aromatic, elegant, structured, racy and offers concentration as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild cassis, wild raspberry and more slightly pepper associated with small touches of wild red berries, black berries, violet/lily as well as discreet hints of liquorice, spices and an imperceptible hint of varietal. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant, gourmande, structured and offers suavity, a good finesse as well as a small richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crunchy cassis, crunchy cherry and more slightly crunchy/ripe wild strawberry associated with small touches of blackberry, chocolate, tonka bean, liquorice as well as discreet hints of toasted/vanilla. Tannins are fine and very finely dry. Good length.
