The nose is fruity, well-balanced, slightly powerful and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry and slight notes of crushed wild strawberry associated with touches of liquorice, tobacco, a hint of toffee as well as subtle touches of dark chocolate and subtle hint of flowers (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acid frame (in the background), a beautiful minerality, gourmandise, a beautiful suavity, tension, a silky matter as well as a good volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild blackberry crushed and slight touches of crushed raspberry, fleshy red berries associated with slight touches of crushed / juicy cassis, toasted oak, liquorice as well as a slight touch of caramel. Tannins are fine, firm and very slightly dry. Good persistence.
