Champagne Vauversin – Millésime 2014 – Grand Cru, Extra Brut

Champagne Vauversin – Millésime 2014 – Grand Cru, Extra Brut

The nose offers freshness as well as a fine richness. It reveals notes of egg cream and white fruits associated with fine hints of litchee, citrus as well as a discreet hint of limestone (in the background). The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, a small fat as well as dynamism. The effervescence is fine and offers dynamism as well as a small aerial side. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of fresh lemon, crunchy peach and small notes of crunchy apple associated with fine hints of kumquat/fresh citrus and limestone. A wine on the fruit and juiciness.
