Champagne Salon – Cuvée ‘S’ 2002 – Blanc de Blancs – Le Mesnil

Champagne Salon – Cuvée ‘S’ 2002 – Blanc de Blancs – Le Mesnil

The nose is fine and elegant. It reveals notes of ripe yellow fruit associated with fine notes of dried apricot (in the background), minerality as well as touches of apple and touches of white pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, fat, suave, well balanced, deep, dense and structured. The effervescence is fine. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of mandarin, sweet citrus and crushed pear associated with a few fine notes of honey as well as notes of dried yellow fruit. Beautiful finish. This Champagne changes every moment in the glass.
