Champagne Pierre Legras – Idée de Voyage 2011, Blanc de Blancs – Chouilly, Grand Cru

(Disgorgement: 11/2020) The nose is fruity, elegant, well-built, racy and offers fleshy fruit. It reveals notes of juicy mandarin, yellow apple and small notes of acidulous yellow plum associated with small touches of yellow peach, tangerine blossoms as well as discreet hints of racy / limestone minerality. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, dynamism, precision, a good structure as well as racy minerality. The effervescence is elegant and precise. In the mouth this Champagne expresses notes of juicy / acidulous yellow apple, juicy / acidulous yellow peach and small notes of tangerine associated with small touches of kumquat, lemon, tangerine flowers as well as fine hints of small yellow flowers, buttered brioche, almonds and a subtle toasted hint. Good length.
